I didn't want to buy tube bending software. So I'm building some.
I'm Eric. I'm pretty new to bending tube. The part that wore me down wasn't the bending — it was the math in between: turning a design into cut lengths, bend marks, and the paper template you wrap around a tube to cut the notch. I looked at what's out there and didn't want to spend that kind of money to bend a few tubes in my own garage.
So I'm building the tool I wanted. It's called BendrStudio, it runs in a browser, and right now anyone can use it for free.
What it does
You sketch your tubes in the app, or import them from Fusion 360. You pick the die you actually own — Rogue Fab, JD2, Pro-Tools, Swag, or type in your own — and it works out the rest with real springback and clamp-offset numbers, not guesses.
Out the other end you get cut lengths and bend marks for every tube, 1:1 notch templates you print and trace, a cut plan that tells you how many sticks to buy, and a bend sheet to carry out to the bender.
Where it's at
It's a beta. It works — I use it on my own builds — but it's young, rough in places, and it changes most weeks. When something breaks, tell me and it usually gets fixed fast. There's no ticket queue. It's one guy.
The deal
Right now it's free. All of it, for everyone, while it's in beta.
Down the road I might charge for some of it — I want this to be something I can keep working on. But I'm making one promise up front: there will always be a free tier that's actually usable. Enough to design a real part, get real cut lengths, and print a real template. Not a demo that stops right where it gets useful.

Try it, then tell me what broke
The most useful thing you can do is run a real part through it and tell me where it fell short — what die, what you were making, what it got wrong. That's what steers what gets built next.
